PUEBLO'S DUI, personal inJury and Criminal Defense SPECIALIST
Legal representation is about more than appearing in court. It's about helping people understand the challenges they're facing so they can make informed decisions throughout the legal process.

People rarely contact an attorney on one of the best days of their lives.
More often, they're overwhelmed. They're worried about their family, their career, their reputation, or the uncertainty of what comes next. They don't just need someone who understands the law; they need someone who will listen, tell them the truth, and help them move forward.
That's the kind of attorney Schultz set out to become.

Schultz has dedicated his practice to representing individuals facing life-changing legal challenges throughout Pueblo and Southern Colorado.
His practice focuses primarily on:
DUI Defense
Personal Injury
Criminal Defense
While every case presents its own legal issues, every client shares something in common:
They're looking for someone they can trust during an uncertain time.
Schultz approaches every case with careful preparation, strategic thinking, and direct communication. He believes clients deserve honest answers, realistic expectations, and an attorney who takes the time to explain the legal process in language they can actually understand.

It began during college, when I had the opportunity to work as an investigator with the civil rights attorneys at the Southern Center for Human Rights in Atlanta.
That experience gave me a firsthand look at how frightening, unfair, and demoralizing the criminal justice system can be for people caught in it. It also showed me that the law has the power to protect people—but only when someone is willing to stand beside them and make sure their voice is heard. That year changed the direction of my life. It convinced me that this was work worth doing.
The work I do is important, but it isn't the only thing that defines me.
Outside the office, I enjoy skiing, backpacking, fly fishing, tying my own flies, building fly rods, keeping bees, and coaching soccer. Most importantly, I make it a priority to spend as much time as possible having adventures with my family.
Those experiences remind me why this work matters.
Every client who walks through our doors is trying to protect something important in their own life—whether it's their family, their career, their reputation, or their future.
Practicing law has given me a deep appreciation for Pueblo and the people who live here.
Pueblo is a community filled with hardworking, genuine people. If you slow down, get involved, and take the time to know the people here, you'll quickly understand why I believe it's one of the best places to practice law in Colorado.
Serving this community is both a responsibility and a privilege.
DUI cases can be stressful and uncertain, especially when your license, career, reputation, or freedom may be at risk. Schultz helps clients understand what they're facing, what their options are, and what steps need to be taken to protect their rights and future.
Personal injury cases are about more than medical bills. When someone else's negligence causes an injury, you may be dealing with pain, lost income, insurance companies, and uncertainty about what comes next. Schultz works to make sure injured clients are treated fairly and have someone in their corner throughout the process.
Criminal defense is about protecting your rights when you're accused of a crime. Whether the allegations are serious or seem straightforward, the consequences can affect your freedom, family, career, and reputation. Schultz believes every person deserves to be heard, treated with respect, and given a strong defense based on the facts of their case.
The answer is simple. I want my work to be good for people. People facing criminal charges need help. People who have been injured need help. Whether someone is accused of a crime or recovering from a serious accident, my goal is to help them understand the legal process, protect their rights, and navigate one of the most difficult chapters of their lives.

A Philosophy Built on Trust
I cannot do my job unless my clients trust me. Trust isn't automatic. It's earned through honesty, preparation, hard work, and treating every client with respect. One belief has guided my practice from the very beginning:
No one is as bad as the worst thing they have ever done.
Every person deserves to have their story heard, their rights protected, and their case evaluated on its own facts, not assumptions or labels.
Why Truth Matters
One of the biggest misconceptions about criminal defense attorneys is that they exist to create excuses or twist the facts. That isn't how I practice law. Some people are innocent. Some people made mistakes but are facing charges that don't accurately reflect what happened. Some acted under circumstances that deserve to be fully understood before judgment is passed.
The job isn't to invent a different story
The job is to make sure the true story is heard. The same principle applies to personal injury cases. Insurance companies serve an important purpose, but when legitimate claims are ignored or undervalued, someone needs to stand up for the injured person. I don't believe in exaggerating the facts. I believe the truth has enough power on its own.

Choosing an attorney is about more than experience.
It's about trust.
When you hire Schultz, you're hiring someone who believes in telling the truth, working hard, and treating every client with dignity and respect.
If there's one thing I hope people remember after visiting this website, it's this:
I'm honest.
I work hard.
I genuinely care about helping the people I represent.
Whether you're facing criminal charges, dealing with the uncertainty of a DUI arrest, or recovering from injuries caused by someone else's negligence, every case begins the same way—with a conversation.
Our office is here to listen, answer your questions, and help you better understand the legal process so you can make informed decisions about what comes next.
Legal representation is about more than appearing in court. It's about helping people understand the challenges they're facing so they can make informed decisions throughout the legal process. Adam's approach is built around four principles.
Preparation
Successful representation begins long before entering a courtroom.
Careful investigation, thorough preparation, and attention to detail help ensure every case receives the time and analysis it deserves.
Communication
Legal terminology shouldn't leave clients feeling more confused than when they first called.
Adam believes clients should understand what is happening in their case, why it matters, and what generally comes next..
Strategy
No two cases follow the same path.
Every legal matter requires thoughtful analysis based on its unique facts, evidence, and circumstances.
Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, Adam develops strategies tailored to each client's individual situation.
Respect
People are more than the worst day of their lives.
Whether someone has been charged with a crime or seriously injured because of another person's negligence, they deserve to be treated with professionalism, dignity, and respect throughout the legal process.
